After a lot of discussion and inquiries, we finally decided to go picnic at Dolalghat. We, ICT (Information & Communication Technology) Team are going there this Sunday. Everything, I mean main program schedule is ready, prepared by Abhinandan. I think shopping will be done on Saturday by Sunil, Digbijaya and Lilaram. We are reserving a micro bus for 2 or 3 hours long drive. Although it’s not my first experience to Dolalghat for picnic, I hope I will enjoy a lot than before. We had been there for picnic from our Church 9 months ago. This place is suitable for picnic because picnic spot is in the bank of Dolalghat river. It’s about 1.5 hours long drive from Kathmandu on the way to Khasa.
I am planning to go Chitwan on first week of January with Vishow for wild life photography. We probably will visit Sauraha and Chitwan National Park. I haven’t been there yet. So I don’t know the details of the location there. I will share my experience later. It will be my first experience. But this is our plan only. Nothing is fixed yet. Let’s see! After Chitwan, we are planning to go Butwal and then Tansen. I will go Tansen with Padam, Nalome, Aksha, Lily and Shrina, but not sure. Depends on their schedule. They are leaving for Butwal tomorrow from office. I am starting this new year by visiting different places of Nepal. This will be really helpful for my portal RealNepal.com.np.

How was your Christmas this year? Well, my Christmas was full of fun and blessings. I was able to attend lots of Christmas programs this year. Gone caroling whole six days (Sunday to Friday) at different places of Kathmandu valley. On Saturday, we had ‘Christmas Love Feast’ in our Church after the regular service. Enjoyed a lot there with my friends. After Church, I went to Bhainsepati at Rajesh Dai’s apartment. He had invited all friends of ICT Team for dinner that night. There was ‘Valley Wide Christmas Festival’ on Sunday at Khula Munch, Tundikhel. The worship was leaded by Samu da and message about Christmas was shared by Guruba (Pastor Robert Karthak).
On Monday, there was ‘Christmas Eve Celebration’ at our office. After that program, I went to NIM Lalitpur Church with Padam. We enjoyed a lot with candle lights and campfire. I am writing all these activities in short because I don’t have too much time. There was a grand celebration on Christmas day (25th Dec.) in our Church at Gyaneshwor. As every year, the programme ended after Guruba released balloon with a big banner of Christmas greeting. Please check out some snaps of Christmas programs posted below.

Photography is an Art, a way of life, thinking creatively and seeing life, it is our passion, mental and emotional nourishment. All we can say is experiment, experiment, experiment… the exposure is irrelevant because for each flower, the light source is different, just like for people and everything else!
We love flowers, they are neither shy nor temperamental, just extremely ephemeral, and that is one of the things we like to capture and eternalize their beauty. All flowers are beautiful, some through their shape, some through their colour, some through both of them, just like with people. However, we noticed that some flowers are more photogenic than others… just like with people…
Flowers have been cultured and bred for their beauty and their perfume from earliest times and have accumulated a vast and intricate treasury of symbolic associations derived from legend and folklore. Individual flowers have been celebrated in heraldry (rose), in religion (lotus) and in politics (violet) and have become symbol for many countries. In modern time, we cultivate, buy and love to have flowers and blooming plants around us for the colour, it has become a part of our ‘interior design’. Flower lovers will know that there is a flower language.
Every sentiment is expressed in one form or another by delicate flower. Of course, even the experts disagree on the “true meaning” of many flowers and most have different meanings to different people.
Due to diversity in climate and topography, many different varieties of flowers are found in Nepal. They range from tropical flowers found in the Terai to flowers such as rhododendron that are found only above the snowline. We are experimenting on this issue, please give us feedback.

I am doing research on Plone Content Management System for internal and external website of United Mission to Nepal. I think UMN will be the first organization to use Plone CMS in Nepal. There are lots of advantages in this CMS which are not found in other content management systems like Joomla, Drupal, etc. Plone runs on Zope Application Server. Zope provides various basic and advanced services to applications built on top of it. Zope is written in Python. Python is a high-level object-oriented interpreted language. It is a very simple language to learn and use. I have already ordered several books for Plone, Zope and Python. Now learning many things about Plone, Zope and Python. Rajesh Dai (My Team Leader at UMN) is helping me a lot in this project.
Today, there was a small meeting regarding Plone with a person from VSO Nepal. He wanted to know about Plone and told that VSO Nepal is also going to use Plone. He also said that there is no any company in Nepal which works on Plone or Python. I also don’t know about such company in Nepal. After the meeting, Rajesh Dai suggested me that I can be a first Plone expert from Nepal. Will it be true? I don’t know about the future but if I start working hard then it is not impossible.

I am so excited and waiting for the time so eagerly. I am going for Carol (Carol is joyful religious song celebrating the birth of Christ.) from our Church this Sunday with worship group. This will be my first experience. My Church is Nepali Isai Mandali (NIM), Gyaneshwor. It’s located at Kalopul, Gyaneshwor. I have been going there since I came here at Kathmandu before 4 years. NIM just celebrated its golden jubilee on November 1, 2 & 3. Click here to view news related to golden jubilee celebration of our Church. All the members of NIM worship team are fully dedicated to God and hence are doing well. Our worship team is leaded by Samuel Karthak. (We all call him Samu Da’.) Check out the snap of our team below which was taken during golden jubilee celebration. I would like to thank Nalome for providing me that snap. I am going to post the updates of our Christmas Carole in few days. Just keep on visiting my website.

Are you a photographer? If your answer is yes then you probably may be familiar with this software already. Well, if you don’t know about Noise Ninja then this article will be helpful for you.
Noise Ninja is a very effective tool to remove noise and grain from your photographs. This can be used for both digital images or scanned film photographs. You must use this software if you are taking the photographs in low light situation or with higher ISO value. It can improve the quality of your noisy and grainy photographs without loosing important image details. This software is used daily by many professional photographers in the world. You can also try even if you are not a professional. This tool is really helpful and easy to use. But this is quite slow and only available for Windows operating system. If you want to try it today then you can download it’s free trial version at www.picturecode.com. But the trial version watermarks your final image. This is only for experimental purpose. Full version of this software bundle costs around 80 US$. But it worths.
You can use this software as standalone software or as a plug-in for other software like Adobe Photoshop. Noise Ninja is optimized for high-quality results without softening or blurring your photographs. It also includes a noise brush tool which allows you to process only small parts of an image, as well as control over color and luminance channels. It supports JPG, 16-bit TIFF output (48 bits per pixel), batch processing, and multiprocessor execution.
I will come up with the basic operation guide for Noise Ninja in next posts.

I got a link from my friend and posted here. Hope you will enjoy.
I work at the computer store on a campus. A few weeks ago, we had a customer call in and ask the following:
I was extremely tempted to tell him how people in Europe and Asia wake up at odd hours just to use the net.
…or…
…or…
We would love to be able to say, just once, to these callers, “YES! We are the Internet, and we own all.”
“The Internet — isn’t that a microchip?”
“Isn’t Netscape Navigator the Internet?”
