Most of the posts in my blog used to be technical, informative and entertainment related before but these days I have tried to post my personal feelings in this blog. I am sharing the things that are in my mind these days.
Everything happens for a reason. Our life exists in this planet for some reason and this is not an accident that we are here. Nothing occurs by chance or due to good or bad luck. Problems and sorrows are there in our lives which teach us the way of living our life. Our life without problems would be like a smoothly coated and straight road without any destination. There is no meaning of life without any proper destination.
I believe that we must learn to accept everything that comes in our life as an opportunity to discover new things. It’s easy for everyone to be thankful for good results only. But to be thankful when you are in trouble is obviously very difficult. So find the way to be thankful in every situation of your life. If you want to make your life beautiful then always start your day with positive thinking and be thankful to God for adding one more day in your life. We may have very bad past and may have done stupid mistakes in our life. If we treat them as our experience, acceptance and emergence then it will help us to heal such pasts. Never regret for your past mistakes and failures but try to accept it as a sequence of lessons that advance us to higher levels of living and caring.
If someone hurts you, betrays you or thinks you wrong, forgive them. If someone loves you, love them back without any conditions. Love them not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and to release your heart and eyes to things that you would have never felt without them. Be grateful for every moment of your life. You can make your life according to your wish. But you must leave everything in God and ask for His guidance in the whole thing you wish for.

It has been more than two weeks that I haven’t added any new post in my blog coz I am feeling too lazy these days. In other word, I must say that I haven’t found any fruitful result in my recent work so I feel that I am just wasting my valuable time. I used to go for photography atleast once a week before but now I can’t manage even a single hour for my photography. I love nature and its beauty as everyone do. I think that nature photography is a best way to be close with nature around us so that I want to continue my photography again. I have a lot of works to complete but I don’t know how to manage all these. I may need a break for some days so that I can return back to work with refreshed mind and intellection. Now I can’t do anything except viewing these previously taken photos. Well, I am eagerly waiting for that day.

I have always one question storming in my mind! Not actually one, there are so many but this one is different. It’s about managing time. Yes, we all wish to have more time, but each of us is given out same 24 hrs each day. What I think is we have enough time in our hand to do important things. If we use our time wisely then we’ll have more things done in time and we can enjoy that time as well. I know that we all have too much to do in our life. But we don’t think about time and we tend to do everything in our life.
I used to suggest my friends to prioritize their most important things higher and not to do less important things. It’s true that sometime I am also unable to prioritize my works according to their importance. That’s why I failed to meet my deadline at my workplace, it’s my recent experience. I allocated more time for least important things so that I was unable to complete my project in time. One thing is clear that there is no any way back machine to take us back to history. Time never goes back and it is like a flowing river which never returns. But if we start managing time well then we can take our time back. We must keep in mind that everything we do is not important and we must track our time and evaluate where our time goes. Time is a gift so decide today to spend your time on most important things and take back your time and life.

These days I am going through book of Daniel in my personal Bible study. This book is very interesting and full of inspirations. I know that God loves our whole hearted commitment to Him and He doesn’t want us to be double minded. I found that Daniel’s three friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were fully committed to God. We know that these three Jewish youth were thrown into the furnace after they refused to bow down to a golden idol that king Nebucchadnezer had built. But what we can see here is - as these three boys were wholeheartedly committed to God they believed that if they are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God they serve is able to save them from king’s hand. We can find here how the story concluded. God rescued the boys from the fire and God was glorified.
Let us see the response of king below from Daniel 3:25-28.
He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”
Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”
So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.
Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way.”
Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
These three boys trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. When there is commitment, we will be rendered but when we bind to it, God is glorified and God will bless our lives to have lasting impact.
If you truly know the love and commitment of God for you, you will make a choice of commitment for Him.

I know life just keeps going in its normal way. I was really enjoying the work that I am doing here at Nepal. But I am not able to concentrate in my works these days. Sharing some of my personal feelings - getting bored with my own life. I am feeling like I can’t do anything. I never experienced anything like this before. Always thinking about someone. Yes, I have planned to do lot of things in my own country. But the situation in this country is expelling everyone to try for abroad. I was neither thinking nor interested to go abroad. I may be wrong coz I am pointing the situation of country. I can’t say it’s 100% true but I think that this point is somewhat responsible to make people leave country. But in my own case this point can’t be applied.
Situation may come when someone must think about going abroad. I don’t know why I was not interested to go abroad before. But these days, my mind is not in right place. Now, I think that I must try for abroad. But I can’t go further coz there are so much works and some commitments to finish. I am not able to suggest my mind to do this or that. So I am not concentrating on my works and feeling bored with life. Some of my friends say me that I ask so much questions. My another question- Is this life?

5. You get a lot of fingers pointed at you
When error messages pop up and system outages occur, employees and managers quickly start pointing fingers at IT and the pressure is intense to get things fixed quickly to keep users from losing productivity. That’s part of the job and you have to always be prepared for it. In fact, some IT pros even get an adrenaline rush from this type of high-pressure stakes.
The problem is that IT pros hear loud and clear when things aren’t working, but they rarely get much appreciation during the other 99% of the time when systems are running smoothly.
4. People assume you’re an expert in all things tech
When you’re an IT worker, non-techies tend to assume that you know everything about all tech subjects. For example, if you’re a help desk technician you get questions about how the company’s Web site is built. And if you’re a Java developer you can expect to field questions about how to deal with spam and spyware on an employee’s machine.
There are obviously tactful ways to handle this, but many IT pros can’t help but get a little frustrated by this, or even feeling a little inadequate. Worse, because you’re a techie, a lot of your co-workers will come to you for advice on buying PCs, digital cameras, and TVs. Some will even ask you to fix their PC for free or help troubleshoot a problem with their cable modem.
3. You have to continually re-train, on your own dime
I think it’s fair to say that no profession on earth is changing faster than the IT field right now and that’s not likely to change any time soon. The pace of development and innovation in hardware and software products is staggering. As a result, the knowledge that it takes just to keep your current job is always growing and morphing, and IT pros have to take responsibility for their continuing education or risk having their skills and knowledge become obsolete within a few short years.
This is a constant struggle. The big challenge is that many companies don’t officially recognize this problem, and so IT pros have to use free resources like TechRepublic to stay current, or pay for training out of their own pockets. In the past, TechRepublic surveys have shown that over 50% of IT pros pay for their own training.
2. The hours are long and irregular
Lots of jobs in the knowledge economy require long hours, so it’s not unique that many IT professionals — from developers to administrators to systems integrators — have to work overtime on a regular basis. However, what does set IT apart is the scattered irregularity of those hours. Most IT workers are always on call, or are at least part of an on-call rotation, in case critical systems go down during off-hours.
In addition, many IT pros have tasks that they need to do when there aren’t as many users on the system. That means coming in early to run backup routines or staying late to update an application or patch a server after most of the users have logged off at the end of the day.
1. The job market is tumultuous and in transition
During the late 1990s, people flooded into IT, chasing the promise of $65K/year jobs that were going unfilled because of the lack of qualified candidates. IT professionals who were already in the field could hop jobs and get significant pay raises. IT pros were in demand. But, it didn’t last. The dot com implosion and the wrap up of the Y2K fixes meant that a lot of tech jobs disappeared.
Since then, the off-shore outsourcing phenomenon and the H1B visa issue have put further strain on the IT job market in the U.S. and abroad. Many IT professionals run the risk of building their skills, experiences, and their careers, only to have their jobs shipped overseas to save costs. That means IT professionals have to be particularly adept at managing their own careers in order to avoid being unemployed or underemployed.

My another interest that I haven’t shared yet is video editing and mixing. I used to do video mixing and editing before 4/5 years when I was doing my +2. I did all these things only for fun. I tried different video editing softwares like Adobe Premiere, MGI Videowave, Ulead Videostudio, etc. One sample work that I have done is posted in my new video sharing website Video Sansar. It’s not so good, just mixed some video clips and audio using MGI Videowave. Just check it below!

I am doing research on Plone Content Management System for internal and external website of United Mission to Nepal. I think UMN will be the first organization to use Plone CMS in Nepal. There are lots of advantages in this CMS which are not found in other content management systems like Joomla, Drupal, etc. Plone runs on Zope Application Server. Zope provides various basic and advanced services to applications built on top of it. Zope is written in Python. Python is a high-level object-oriented interpreted language. It is a very simple language to learn and use. I have already ordered several books for Plone, Zope and Python. Now learning many things about Plone, Zope and Python. Rajesh Dai (My Team Leader at UMN) is helping me a lot in this project.
Today, there was a small meeting regarding Plone with a person from VSO Nepal. He wanted to know about Plone and told that VSO Nepal is also going to use Plone. He also said that there is no any company in Nepal which works on Plone or Python. I also don’t know about such company in Nepal. After the meeting, Rajesh Dai suggested me that I can be a first Plone expert from Nepal. Will it be true? I don’t know about the future but if I start working hard then it is not impossible.
