Next limitation may be your port number where your web server runs. Usually apache web server runs on port 80 of your computer. There may be the case that your ISP can block this port and this may cause the connection closed or you have to run the server in next port.

So the conclusion is that it is better to host your website in any professional web hosting providers which have very low down time with very high bandwidth internet connection, are secured with latest softwares and tools and are monitored and maintained all the time with qualified staffs.
