Photography is my interest and it’s also my profession. I like almost every types of photography. I enjoy more while doing nature photography. Because it helps me to be close with nature and its beauty. In this section, I will try to include lots of thing about photography.  

According to the Wikipedia - the free encyclopedia, Photography is the process of recording pictures by means of capturing light on a light-sensitive medium, such as a film or sensor. Light patterns reflected or emitted from objects expose a sensitive chemical or electronic medium during a timed exposure, usually through a photographic lens in a device known as a camera that also stores the resulting information chemically or electronically.

Actually, the word Photography is derived from two Greek words phos and graphis. The meaning of phos is light and that of graphis is paintbrush or representation by means of lines. Thus, photography is to draw anything with light. The final product of photography is called photograph or simply photo.

The photography is a subject of interest to most people from the beginning of its invention. Modern photography is supposed to be started from 1820s with the development of chemical photography. The first permanent photograph was an image produced in 1826 by the French inventor Nicephore Niepce. Initially, photographic plates were used in place of film. Many advances in photographic glass plates and printing were made in through the nineteenth century. George Eastman developed the technology of film to replace photographic plates in 1884,  leading to the technology used by film cameras today.

We can find total three types of photography.

1. Black and White Photography
2. Color Photography
3. Digital Photography

All the photographs were black and white at the starting. And today also many uses black and white photography due to its low cost and classic look. Color photography started from mid 1800s. Early experiments in color could not fix the photograph and prevent the color from fading. The first permanent color photo was taken in 1861. Today, digital photography is used widely due to its lots of advantages over previous types. It uses electronic devices to capture and save images in digital format. The images taken through digital technology can be viewed, edited and modified immediately on personal computers. Also one can easily transfer digital images from one place to another by using different medias such as email, storage devices, etc.

We can find many digital camera manufacturing companies such as Sony, Nikon, Canon, Kodak, Casio, Olympus, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Sigma, Hasselblad, etc.
